Fish Herbs

Description

Our Fish Herbs are a luminous medley of seasonal Mediterranean herbs, perfectly complementing your fish and seafood dishes. The light, lemony and aniseed essences found in the mix are classic matches for the delicate flavour of fish and seafood.

Food

Fish Herbs embellish all fish and seafood dishes. They can be stuffed into whole fish for baking, roasting and barbequing, rubbed onto the skin before cooking, laid as an aromatic bed for smoking or baking, and used for marinades and sauces. Fish Herbs match gracefully with cream, watercress, citrus, garlic, ginger, chilli and soy.

Health Benefits

Fish Herbs aid the digestion of high protein and oil in the meal. They contain notable levels of important anti-oxidants and micro-minerals that contribute to general health, stress resistance and longevity.

Storage

Punnet

Store in the fridge in the vegetable drawer in original punnet. Use within two days of opening.

Culture and History

Fish are a staple food for every culture that lives within travelling distance of an ocean, lake, or river. Fish have been eaten raw, cooked, salted, dried, smoked, fermented, made into sauce, traded, farmed, kept as pets, and of course, infused with fresh herbs, since antiquity.
